The Schnurman, and Its Contribution to Society

Yesterday, I was introduced to a new word.... Schnurman. It was discovered in the newspaper by my always observant boyfriend, and was later determined to be a creature of some sort (by us, of course). So I have taken the responsibility of providing it with an appearance and educating the masses of its purposes and abilities.

 

There is a wide variety of Schnurmans, including (but not limited to)...

A Schnurman can do many things. For example, it can...
...help the elderly...

...provide the neighborhood children with tasty treats...

...and bring peace to all the world.

 

Oh, and it can also shoot lasers. 

And as for their reason of existence, well...
